Thanks for the problem report. Could you tell us some more additional information?
1. Where's your mail DB? Is it under "~/Library/Application Support/Lotus Notes Data"?
2. Did you do "full text indexing" on your mail db before? If the answer is yes, did you do this operation in Beta1 build?
3. What's the type of your machine? Intel or PPC?
4. When you do Spotlight indexing, you may find a status report line at the bottom of the configuration dialog:
Could you tell us how many documents are detected?
5. Could you tell us the size and the template of your mail db?
And, you can also try to check "Reindex all databases" option and then push the "Apply" button to force reindexing all of the dbs. May be that can solve your problem.
